Full Upgrade of Electrolyzer Flexible Operation Technology for Deep Adaptation to Renewable Energy Absorption

In response to the demand for absorbing curtailed renewable power, the flexible regulation technology of electrolyzers has undergone comprehensive iterative optimization.

The new-generation electrolyzers break through the limitations of traditional fixed-load operation, realizing ultra-wide-range deep peak regulation, rapid load ramping up and down, and stable low-load operation. The stable operating range of some models has been expanded to 16%–160%, with response time reduced to the 10-second level.

The equipment can track real-time output fluctuations of wind and solar power, automatically match power generation capacity, efficiently absorb curtailed renewable energy, and realize green hydrogen production directly from renewable electricity. It greatly improves the comprehensive utilization rate of new energy sources and serves as core supporting equipment for the carbon-neutral transition of the new power system.
